The shop has a 'swap point' for allotmenteers spare plants, unwanted tools, and other gardening related items.
In the spring the shop sells plants, the money raised going towards a Longmeadow improvement project.
In 2012 our project was to purchase a new storage container so we could buy in bulk we achieved this by the summer.

Free wood-chip and free manure
A purpose built, disabled friendly, toilet block maintained by the committee. (through arrangement with the council)
In 2009 the committee purchased a jet washer for use in the shop and toilet block
The 2010 project was to re-paint, tile, and provide hand dryers, soap dispensers and automatic air fresheners in the facilities.

SHREDDER
In 2011 we bought a shredder which a member of the committee will happily (on request) bring to a members plot and operate.
IN 2013 the Council provided allotment sites with a heavy duty shredder which makes short work of small branches, cabbage stumps etc.

GREEN WASTE
As much green waste as possible should be composted on allotment holders plots.
