The shop is open from 10am to 12am on a Saturday and Sunday. The chair also opens the shop Thursday evenings 4.00 to 6.30pm in line with British Summer Time.
The shop is 'manned' by the committee on a voluntary basis as many have full time jobs. The committee takes no payment for their time or work.
You have to be a member of the Longmeadow association (£2.50) to purchase anything in the shop and you will
be asked for your membership card/plot number (until we get to know you.) Our computer will show
us if you have paid your membership fee.
The shop does not take customer credit and any profit made or funds raised is put
back into improving facilities for allotmenteers or contributes towards social events .
To keep the prices low the committee have linked up with 3 other allotment sites to buy
in bulk and get free delivery.
At the time of producing this web page, we are selling off our King's seeds due to the expense of being a member of the allotment association that King's seeds are bought through.

The shop keeps a small range of ground and plant cover to meet allotment holders needs. The picture shows:- clear plastic, weed control cover, fruit cage netting and debris netting to protect plants.The piping to support the net is also sold
The shop stocks Fothergill’s seeds which are sold with a 40% reduction on the RRP
The shop has two storage units allowing us to buy in bulk.

Along with a range of cold drinks and chocolate bars the shop provides tea,coffee and hot chocolate for allotmenteers.
